FAQ
How do I get started?

To get started, you can reach out here, email drelianabauman@gmail.com, or call (845) 605-2737. I will follow up to schedule a free 10-15 minute intake call, so we can discuss your goals and whether I might be a good fit. If so, a 60 minute initial consultation will be scheduled. The consultation allows you to share about your history and what you are looking to gain from therapy. It is also a way to get to know me, identify a treatment plan, and make sure it would be a good fit to work together.

Ongoing therapy sessions are typically weekly and 45 minutes long.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out of network provider, which means that I do not work directly with any insurance companies. This allows me to provide highly individualized care for each patient without insurance dictating treatment. Many insurance companies provide out of network benefits and reimburse for mental health care. You can contact your insurance provider to inquire more about your specific benefits. Upon request, I can provide you with monthly superbills for you to submit to your insurance company.
